The Beast looks at his hands for a moment and then shrugs, "It's not like I can hurt him now. Not without breaking the geis. I don't really care, but perhaps they should stay for now. If there is a chance they are helping me remain logical, it would be best they stay as long as possible."
He removes his hand from Dia's and pulls the other man closer in an effort to reassure him, "It will be okay, Little Bird. He isn't upset, so you shouldn't be either. This is the best way."
"I know," Dia admits after a few moments of silence. "That doesn't mean I have to like it."
The Beast kisses him lightly on the head and then turns to Bazett, "This plan you have for the Association. Explain it to me."
